This privacy policy explains how personal data is collected and used on this website for the 2027 PER-IADR Oral Health Research Congress. This is a draft policy and will be reviewed by the organisers before the congress.
Who is responsible
The congress is organised by the Pan European Region of the International Association for Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Research, supported by the Local Secretariat in Riga. Data submitted through this website is handled by:

What data we collect
- Contact and enquiry forms: name, email address, country, and the content of your message.
- Sponsorship enquiries: company name, contact person, email, telephone number, VAT number, the packages you select and any notes you add.
- Newsletter: your name and email address.
- Analytics: anonymised usage data, only if you accept analytics cookies.
Why we use it
We use your data to answer your enquiry, to process sponsorship and exhibition requests, and — where you have subscribed — to send you congress announcements. The legal bases are your consent and our legitimate interest in organising the congress.

Sharing and processors
Form submissions are delivered by email through Mailjet, our email service provider, and shared between the congress secretariats named above. We do not sell personal data. Analytics data is processed by Google.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and sponsorship correspondence are kept for as long as needed to organise the congress and to meet legal or accounting obligations. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or portability, and you may object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact per.iadr@uzleuven.be. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
